An agreement only counts when it is written properly.
Divorce, Consent Orders & Agreements
Choose the document you need β prepared in the form the court expects, without the jargon or unnecessary cost.

Use this if you are ready to start the divorce, or want it checked before you file.
Use this when you have agreed the split and need it made legally final.
Use this when you agree the arrangements and want the court to formalise them.
Use this to protect property, businesses, pensions, or inheritances before you marry.
Use this if you live together and want the finances and property written down now.
Use this if you are living apart and need the practical arrangements on paper.
The document is not the paperwork for its own sake. It is how you close the door on future arguments.
Pick from the list, or book a short call if you are not sure which one you need.
Plain-English drafting, in the form the court expects, based on what you have agreed.
You stay in charge. I guide you through court approval where the document needs it.

A conversation or a handshake is not enough. Divorce needs the correct application. A financial settlement is not safe until a court approves a consent order. Child arrangements, prenups, and living-together agreements all need to be written in a form that actually stands up.
This is not the full Family Court roadmap. If you need the process explained step by step, start with the Divorce roadmap. If you already know you need a specific document prepared, choose it below.
Choose what you need
Six documents. Pick the one that matches your situation. If you are not sure,
book a short call and we will choose it together.
Divorce does not have to be complicated or overwhelming. It is a formal process, and most people can manage it themselves if the paperwork is right first time. I guide you through each stage, help you complete the application, and stop the common mistakes that cause delay or rejected forms.
Reaching an agreement about money is only half the job. Without a Financial Consent Order approved by the court, claims can stay open indefinitely β even after you are divorced. The order records the settlement and makes it binding, so neither of you can come back later for a second attempt.
When parents have already agreed where the children live and the time they spend with each of you, a consent order records that agreement and, once approved, makes it legally binding. It gives both of you β and the children β a clear, stable arrangement instead of something that can be changed on a whim.
A prenup sets out how finances and assets would be dealt with if the relationship ended. It is not automatically binding in England and Wales, but the court willusually give it significant weight if it was entered freely, with full disclosure, is fair to both of you, and was completed well before the wedding.
Unmarried couples do not have the same automatic rights as married couples. A cohabitation agreement records who owns what, who pays what, and what happens if you separate β so you are not relying on assumption if circumstances change.
A separation agreement is for couples who are splitting up but remain legally married. It can cover finances, property, debts, and ongoing responsibilities, so you can move forward with less conflict while you decide whether divorce comes next.
You are not handing the whole case to a solicitor and paying for every email. You choose the document, I prepare it properly, and you decide what happens next.
What if it is not that simple?
If you and the other person already agree, the document is often enough. If the other side will not cooperate, or the finances and children are still in dispute, start with the relevant roadmap or book a call β do not force the wrong product.
Choose the matching consent order or agreement above and have it prepared properly.

Long-term client, 2022β2026
After representing myself through my own case, I spent over twenty-five years in the Family Courts helping people with divorce, financial orders, child arrangements, and the documents that make agreements stick. I qualified as a Barrister in 2010.
I am not here to scare you into a retainer. If you need a document, I will prepare that document. If you need the whole process explained first, I will send you there instead.
